Jake Nicholls took his CRF450R to a commanding double win at round two of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship supported by Pro Clean at an immaculate Canada Heights today.

The maximum points haul means he’ll head to his home round of the series at Blaxhall in a fortnight’s time with the red championship leader’s plate on the front of his Buildbase Honda.

Double top for Jake!

Buildbase Honda’s Jake Nicholls took two dominant MX1 race wins at the opening round of the Michelin MX Nationals at a muddy, rutted-out and challenging Preston Docks on Sunday.

The Suffolk-based racer – third overall at the opening round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship a week earlier at Culham – came out swinging on his CRF450R in the first moto.

Belfast blues for Buildbase

Buildbase Honda is still in contention for the Power Maxed Arenacross Tour title despite two tough nights in Belfast at rounds four and five of the 2018 championship.

Heading into Northern Ireland, opening round winner Charles Lefrancois was joint Pro series leader with his team-mate Fabien Izoird in third but a collision between the pair in their second heat on Friday sent Fabien to the Last Chance Qualifiers.

Positive British Enduro Sprint for Snow

Rounds 1 and 2 of the ACU British Enduro Sprint headed south to the Dorset hillside of Rogershill near Bere Regis. Even after the persistent rain over the past few weeks, the Fast Eddy track crew set out a test which would turn out to be perfect riding conditions for both days of race action.

Fabien Izoird and Charles Lefrancois overcame early setbacks to maintain Buildbase Honda’s strong hold on the 2018 Power Maxed Arenacross Tour at Birmingham’s Genting Arena on Saturday night.

After three rounds Charles, winner of the opener in Manchester a fortnight ago, remains tied for the Pro series lead with his fellow Frenchman just two points adrift in third. Buildbase Honda also holds a clear nine-point lead in the Team Championship.

Rock-solid Start for Buildbase Honda!

Buildbase Honda’s Jake Nicholls got his 2018 Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship campaign off to a storming start with a fighting third overall in MX1 at a rough and rutted Culham Moto Park on Sunday.

In MX2 new Kiwi signing Josiah Natzke showed incredible fortitude to bounce back from his huge crash at the European 250cc opener in Spain last weekend to run near the front in both motos and end the day a solid seventh.

Buildbase Honda extended its lead at the top of the Pro Team Championship after a close and combative second round of the 2018 Power Maxed Arenacross Tour at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on Saturday night.

In the individual Pro standings Charles Lefrancois now shares the championship lead despite narrowly missing the podium and his team-mate Fabien Izoird has advanced to third with a storming second in the Main Event.

Team title for Buildbase Honda

Charles Lefrancois and Fabien Izoird overturned a big points deficit to secure the coveted Pro Team Championship for Buildbase Honda in the 2018 Power Maxed Arenacross Tour at Wembley Arena on Saturday night.

Heading into the seventh and final round of the series, the Frenchmen were 18 points behind in the team standings but emerged 14 points ahead after typically solid performances.

Buildbase Honda’s Charles Lefrancois raced to a commanding victory at the opening round of the 2018 Arenacross Tour at Manchester Arena on Saturday night.

Throughout practice and qualification the 27-year-old Frenchman didn’t drop out of the top two on his 2018 CRF450R before running 2-1 in his heat races and picking up an extra three championship points by topping the hot lap competition.

Steady Start for Snow at Witley BEC

With a very early start in this year's 2018 British Enduro championship it was undoubtedly going to be a little on the cold and wet side. After heavy rain and drizzle the day before the race, the riders were blessed with sunshine come Sunday morning, but a wet and challenging course still awaited them.
